What counts as a qualifying direct deposit?
Eligible deposits include employer, payroll provider, gig economy payer or benefits payer deposits through ACH, and gig economy payer Original Credit Transactions (OCT). One deposit must meet the $200 minimum.
What does not count as direct deposit?
Bank transfers, Pay Anyone transfers, trial or verification deposits, PayPal/Cash App/Venmo and other peer-to-peer transfers, mobile check deposits, cash deposits and one-time deposits such as tax refunds do not qualify. Multiple small deposits cannot be combined. Chime determines whether a deposit is legitimate and qualifying.
